DBS visit to Bayeux 2026

Friday 11th to Monday 14th September

Arrangements are almost complete for an exciting four days in Bayeux and we now have a full coach, including our new Mayor and Mayoress and the new Dorchester Town Clerk. The programme of events will soon be available.

WELCOME – BIENVENU!

This year all DBS members are invited to join us for an amazing weekend:
Exchange visit to Bayeux from 11^thto 14th September 2026

Weekend cost £225 pp

To include all group travel and accommodation with French hosts... and you don’t need to be a French speaker – it’s all about enjoying the twinning experience and the fun of a convivial weekend.
Your hosts traditionally provide all meals and a programme of social events/excursions. The return trip on the 14^th includes a full day of sightseeing in Normandy before boarding the early evening ferry to Poole.
If you prefer to stay in an hotel in central Bayeux for the three nights, you will need to arrange and pay for this separately. We can help with advice, if needed.
You will join the group for travel and socialising as usual.

Next year, we hope you will return the hospitality when our Bayeux friends come to visit Dorchester.
